Do It Yourself SEO: Ten Search Engine Optimization Tips (Part 1)

Using a professional search engine optimization service can sometimes be expensive. But, if your budget is tight and you have a basic understanding of web page construction it is possible to optimize your own website without hiring an SEO specialist. For those who want to give it a try, here are ten “Do it yourself” search engine optimization tips:

1. Reckon about SEO right from the start

Many people plot, design and build their websites without giving any thought as to whether their site is search engine friendly or whether it will be capable of attracting traffic in organic search engine results. At the last minute, after most of the site has been built, they try to optimize their site, not realizing that this work should have done throughout the plotting and building process.

It is far better to reckon about search engine optimization at the very beginning of the process. For example, if it is at all possible, choose a domain name that will allow you to include your most vital keyword or search term in your URL. If you are selling bicycles then you would do well have to a domain name like www.xyzbicycles.com . And don’t stop with the domain name; include your keywords in your file names as well. For example, a sub-page of this hypothetical site might be www.xyzbicycles.com/road-bikes.html

2. Design your site with both search engines and users in mind

Your site should be simple for your human readers to know, but it should also be simple for search engine robots as well. If you want to see what a search engine robot will “see” then view your site in a notepad document or use the html view of the well loved web editing programs.

If you have used gif images to render your headlines or other vital text, then this text will not be picked up by the search engine robots. In addition, if you have designed a site that is entirely in a flash format, you will not be providing the search engine spiders with much “food,” or searchable text.

Furthermore, if you have long strings of java script and complex style instructions in the head section of your html page it is better to place the java script in an external file and the style instructions in a separate CSS (cascading style sheet) file, in order to give prominence to the actual text of your web page.

3. Write individual title tags for each and every page of your website

From the standpoint of search engine optimization, the single most vital sentence on any web page is the title tag. The title tag gives the search engine a excellent indication as to what your page is all about. Incorporate your main keywords or search phrases into your title tag, and keep them at the very front of the sentence. These keywords are more vital than your company name (unless it is Coca Cola!). So our XYZ Bicycle Company might have a title tag that looks like this Bicycles: Racing Bikes, Mountain Bikes, Road Bikes, Bicycle Accessories from XYZ Bicycles.

The title tags of each of the sub-pages of the site should reflect the main content of those pages. Never use the same title tag for all the pages of the site.

4. Write a concise description tag for each of your web pages

Just as the title tag is the most vital sentence or phrase on any page, the description tag is the most vital paragraph on any page. Summarize the gist of your page in two or three pages, again incorporating the keywords and search phrases for which you reckon people will use when searching for your site. A description tag for the home page of the XYZ Bicycle Company could look like this: “The EXZ Bicycle Company manufactures mountain bikes, racing bicycles, road bikes and bicycle accessories. Our bicycles are distributed and sold around the world. “

5. Place your keywords into headers and headlines on your page

Your human readers and search engines alike need prominent headlines in order to know what your page is all about. While a human reader only needs to see the headline in a large bold text, search engines distinguish the headlines, which they regard as vital indicators of the page, by noting which phrases are encased in header tags such as , , , etc. H1 is considered most vital and your first headline should be labeled with this tag. If the header tags make your copy look too huge, then you can change the size of the headers by making style instructions that will render the headlines into sizes that are consistent with the look and feel of your site.

In part two of this series I will give the remaining five tips for do-it-yourself search engine optimization.

“3 Motocross Training Tips You Can Use To Win More Races!”

3 Quick Motocross Training Tips That Will Make a Huge Difference!

Have you ever wondered what the guys are doing that are winning races while your fading at the end of your moto?

I used to question myself the same question and I did find allot of answer’s. Some I wish I hadn’t because it truly does come down to hard work! When you look at motocross training and see that you really do get out what you place in it becomes exciting. I knew that if I place in the hard work and could ride hard for my 15 minute moto ( I knew this because I could go that pace for at least 30 minutes during training) that no one would be stronger at the end of the moto then myself. You can train this way for all rider skill levels by adjusting the time and type of exercises your doing.

Let’s get started! 3 things to get you started are:

1.) Get yourself a heart rate monitor. Without one you have no thought how hard your body is working. This becomes even more vital when you get into trying to stay in different heart rate zones such as stout burn or cardio zones. This will also help you determine your lactic acid level, but since this is more of introduction article I won’t get to deep here.

The heart rate monitor I like is made by Polar and it can also mount on a road or mountain bike which I will be talking about next. You can find the heart rate monitor I am talking about here

2.) If you don’t have one buy a road or mountain bike! There isn’t much you can do at a gym to mimic the workout you get on a moto or mountain bike. You can pick either style bike that suits you better. A road bike is excellent for being able to keep your heart rate at a specific target then a mountain in single track trail, but in my opinion the road bike is kinda dull. Using a mountain bike in some single track is I have more fun then riding my moto bike sometimes! The downfalls are that its hard to keep in a zone since your going up and down hills and curving through trees. It is also a small more risky to fall and get hurt versus a road bike.

Either way both are fantastic exercise and a wonderful tools to get you to the end line first.

3.) The last thing you should pick up to start motocross training are health supplements. During rides I like to use CytoSport products which you can find here. When you spend such a huge chunk of time riding and training at a high heart it can be taxing on your body. The one problem I was trying to get rid of was the creation of free radicals in my body. These small buggers will start breaking down your cells and its not a excellent thing. The answer is anti-oxidants. A new product that just came out is eXfuze.

eXfuze is now the worlds first multi-botanical health supplement on planet earth that I know of. Why I am such a proponent is because instead of trying to eat tons of fruits and vegetable to get enough ORAC to find these free radicals off I can just drink 3/4-1 ounce of eXfuze a day and not have to worry about it again! Most importantly it tastes excellent! Don’t get me incorrect though you it is still a excellent thought to eat fruits and vegetables as well.

It fit my need and it does a fantastic job that gives me piece of mind. So I am more pleased now and don’t worry as much. Give it a try on my official eXfuze website: http://www.vivaexfuze.com/

Essential Tips For Bicycle Rims, Round Your Wheels

The firstly bicycle wheels were from a horse fatigued carry, built of wood along a metal group around the bicycle frame, real tough and real rough to drive. After that a man named Dunlop (Scottish) made-up the pneumatic tire, this beside with Macadam (an extra Scot) inventing the far way superficial built cycling a plight extra excellent feeling.

The bicycle frame, alike the bicycle frame hasn’t distorted a lot of in sketch, it’s yet around and forever will be. Beginning at the firstly wooden rims the next were built of steel, then mix metals and currently if you can attempt it, carbon. Of all bicycle articulation the bicycle frame can manufacture a large dissimilarity to how your bike touches. http://goodbikecaretips.blogspot.com

Firstly the load of your frame affect emotionally your running and climbing as the load will reduce you below, for a lengthy, smooth work the load isn’t so valuable as while you buy the wheels rolling the load can support to maintain them going. The form of the frame can be valuable also, a plane frame is superlative for climbing as aerodynamics are not so valuable on a mount, a abstract part, aero, frame will support you graze by way of the air, but in a cross air currents could originator you managing difficulty.

Bicycle Rims supplies

The uncommon supplies consume for rims are real valuable also, steel is vital broken if broken can be trying to pluck out behind into profile, but for the reason that it’s so fantastic it is really challenging to curve in the firstly position and steel is inferior than all the additional supplies.

Mix metals is likely to happen the generally current frame, it can be built in a few form and profile, plane or aero, but not too abstract as it would then weigh too plenty, generally absorbed division rims are of a mix metals braking division near the tire which is then mounted to a carbon abstract part for weightlessness and aerodynamics and a real appealing watching bicycle frame.

As with generally thought if money is no problematic you can operate for the superlative, this would be an all carbon frame, fantastic and real simple, but there are a hardly any difficulty with these rims, firstly they don’t brake so excellent in moisture circumstances and you should work particular brake blocks for carbon and they can be costly, also the frame has to be completely around and not have a few bulges in the frame wall up as this will manufacture braking really irregular, carbon is a challenging fabric to production with and should be excellent seem to be like.

Kind of Rim to Consult

There are also two kind of frame to regard a certain way and this rely upon on which way of tire you aspire to work, firstly there are tubular tires these are glued on to the bicycle frame, price extra and are challenging to refurbish after a deflate, but for racing they reckon and drive extremely well. Clincher tires have made better accumulation new and are near as skilled as tubular for depiction and are simply repairable and extra practically priced. Generally maker promote to all styles in one and the other method.

So which must I obtain? Not an relaxed reaction, as there is so plenty to prefer from, years since you gone to your limited bike supermarket, chosen out which hubs, spokes and rims you wanted and he would make your wheels, but currently generally frame makers also manufacture there individual wheel position, Mavic, Shimano and Campagnolo are likely to happen the superlative renowned, examination out there web-sites for all there extra goodies, there are additional stroke and if you go out to your regional cycle supermarket or survey in the bike magazines you’ll learn them. There is accumulation to point out form, but they are all around.

5 Tips For Buying the Perfect Bicycle

Bicycle riding is a fantastic way to spend time with the family and to get exercise. Why doesn’t everyone ride a bicycle nowadays? For one, they are intimidated when it comes time to buy a bicycle. Here are five helpful tips for choosing the perfect bike for you.

Once you learn how to choose a bike, buying subsequent bikes is a piece of cake. You can’t just see a bike that is shiny and new and say that it is for you. Most vital of all is the fact that the shiny bike will stay in the garage until it tarnishes if you don’t like how it handles.

1. Where will you be riding your bike? This question gets the ball rolling. There are bike shops, fitness stores and department stores carrying bikes but just a few main types of bikes: mountain bikes, hybrid bikes, cruising bikes and road bikes. How often you will ride and the route that you choose determines the best type of bicycle for you.

2. How tall are you? This factor is vital because a small person doesn’t want to have a bike that will cause them to hit the crossbar every time they try to stop the bike. Ouch! A bike that is the incorrect size for you can mean cramped legs and sore knees or stretched muscles. For the answer to this question, you’ll really have to sit on a bike or at least stand next to one.

3. Ride a bike. Don’t let the first bike you ride be the one you buy from the store. Question a friend for their bike to “test drive” in advance.

4. Buy the best bike you can the first time. In a recession especially, people have the tendency to stay on the cheap side. Listen; there are some things that don’t pair well with “cheap.” A bike and a car fall into that category. You will be riding this bike alone or with a carrier for your child. You want to know that you can depend on your bike to keep you safe while you ride. You don’t have to spend 300 bucks but get the features you need for the best price.

5. Visit a bike shop for advice. When you want to know something you go to the experts. Those who sell bikes for a living know about bikes. Go here first to get sized for a bike, learn the type of bike you need and find out all the nuances of bike riding. You might choose not to buy a bike from a specialty shop because of the price but you will now be armed with the knowledge to choose a bike from another store without being taken for a ride.

Choosing a Bicycle Seat

Bike riding can be fun but that fun will become irrelevant if you are uncomfortable. The one part of the bicycle that riders complain about most is the seat. If the butt is not feeling excellent, nothing else matters.

When you buy a bicycle, the seat is not missing. You will get a seat but it won’t necessarily be the seat that is best for you. Don’t be worried to replace it. In fact, if you don’t replace it, your bottom will pay the price.

1. Take a look at your bottom. This is not a joke. Most bicycle seats are small and quite firm as a standard. Competitive cyclists like these seats because there is less movement as you pedal. Constant rubbing can cause chafing which is not excellent for long rides or any ride at all. If you are fuller in the rear, a wider or softer seat may be in order.

2. Examine the seat shape. Most seats have the same basic shape but there are subtle differences that are vital. Seats that slope down on the sides do not support larger bottoms. It is hard on the tail bone and your lower back. Some seats look more like butterfly wings and provide more support by sloping up slightly. Seats with a center channel helps to keep you stationary on your bike without a lot of movement from side to side.

3. Consider a gel seat. Maybe a larger seat is not the answer especially if speed is your choice. A larger seat makes it harder to pedal quicker. Seats are narrow in front for that reason. If the seat fits your bottom and the shape is fine, adding a gel seat can keep your bottom cushioned on longer rides for greater comfort. Gel seats are a fantastic way to stay comfortable when taking a spinning class as well or bouncing up and down on a mountain bike.

4. Learn to adjust your seat. Sometimes the problem is the height of the seat. A seat that is too high means you are straining to reach the pedals. This downward pressure puts more pressure on your bottom on that seat. Can you imagine how much that would hurt? Adjust your bicycle seat so that you can touch the pedals and still maintain a ninety degree angle with your body as you pedal. If the seat is still too hard or it hurts, then look at other possible solutions.

5. What are your riding needs? If you are just riding on occasional outings, a wider seat is acceptable. You aren’t trying to pick up speed or win a race. A narrower seat helps with maintaining speed in competition. A small hard seat can place bumps and bruises on your butt if you are riding over uneven terrain.

A properly fitted bicycle seat is vital for all riders. Shop well now to avoid lots of pain later.

There is more to bike riding than just riding. That’s the simple part. Choose your bike wisely to get the best for your money.
