“3 Motocross Training Tips You Can Use To Win More Races!”

3 Quick Motocross Training Tips That Will Make a Huge Difference!

Have you ever wondered what the guys are doing that are winning races while your fading at the end of your moto?

I used to ask myself the same question and I did find allot of answer’s. Some I wish I hadn’t because it truly does come down to hard work! When you look at motocross training and see that you really do get out what you put in it becomes exciting. I knew that if I put in the hard work and could ride hard for my 15 minute moto ( I knew this because I could go that pace for at least 30 minutes during training) that no one would be stronger at the end of the moto then myself. You can train this way for all rider skill levels by adjusting the time and type of exercises your doing.

Let’s get started! 3 things to get you started are:

1.) Get yourself a heart rate monitor. Without one you have no idea how hard your body is working. This becomes even more important when you get into trying to stay in different heart rate zones such as fat burn or cardio zones. This will also help you determine your lactic acid level, but since this is more of introduction article I won’t get to deep here.

The heart rate monitor I like is made by Polar and it can also mount on a road or mountain bike which I will be talking about next. You can find the heart rate monitor I am talking about here

2.) If you don’t have one purchase a road or mountain bike! There isn’t much you can do at a gym to mimic the workout you get on a moto or mountain bike. You can pick either style bike that suits you better. A road bike is good for being able to keep your heart rate at a specific target then a mountain in single track trail, but in my opinion the road bike is kinda boring. Using a mountain bike in some single track is I have more fun then riding my moto bike sometimes! The downfalls are that its hard to keep in a zone since your going up and down hills and curving through trees. It is also a little more risky to fall and get hurt versus a road bike.

Either way both are great exercise and a wonderful tools to get you to the finish line first.

3.) The last thing you should pick up to start motocross training are health supplements. During rides I like to use CytoSport products which you can find here. When you spend such a big chunk of time riding and training at a high heart it can be taxing on your body. The one problem I was trying to get rid of was the creation of free radicals in my body. These little buggers will start breaking down your cells and its not a good thing. The answer is anti-oxidants. A new product that just came out is eXfuze.

eXfuze is now the worlds first multi-botanical health supplement on planet earth that I know of. Why I am such a proponent is because instead of trying to eat tons of fruits and vegetable to get enough ORAC to find these free radicals off I can just drink 3/4-1 ounce of eXfuze a day and not have to worry about it again! Most importantly it tastes good! Don’t get me wrong though you it is still a good idea to eat fruits and vegetables as well.

It fit my need and it does a great job that gives me piece of mind. So I am happier now and don’t worry as much. Give it a try on my official eXfuze website: http://www.vivaexfuze.com/

There’s More to a Bike Frame than Paint

Whether you’re shopping for a bike or just admiring them, the first part you notice is probably the bicycle frame. The frame is the heart of a bicycle, as well as its art. Including the basically triangular core structure that supports both seat and handlebars and the extensions that attach to the wheels, the color and the geometry of the bicycle frame not only affects the beauty of the bike, but its strength and speed as well. The pleasure and success you derive from bicycle riding will be strongly impacted by having the right frame for your physique and your purposes.

The Two Most Important Aspects of Bicycle Frames Are Their Materials and Their Configuration

Naturally, your bicycle frame will take into dramatic account whether you ride primarily on roads or off-road. Not only are so-called mountain bike frames made of noticeably bigger “tubes,” they are made of more shock resistant materials, with stronger weldings. Road bike frames have a smaller triangular geometry and the main consideration in their material is its weight. Everything on a road bike is designed to keep the rider’s resistance to a minimum in order to promote fluency and speed, while a mountain bike is designed with the primary goal of shock absorption and maneuverability in mind alongside speed-influencing factors.

Even among these two main divisions, you will find major differences in bicycle frames. Road bikes used primarily for touring or recreational riding will have frames with a more relaxed geometry and more total horizontal spread front to back, while racing bikes will tighten that structure for a shorter front to back bike length. A tighter triangle and less distance between the bicycle frame and the tires acts to decrease the resistance of wind and road for a racer, as well as to increase the bike’s ability to respond to the quick, minute maneuverings road racing requires.

There are several basic considerations to keep in mind when choosing the correct bicycle frame for your individual physique and your riding purposes. In addition, your unique body shape and weight will also affect what kind of bicycle frame is best for your comfort and accomplishment. Standard frame measurements, made along the seat tube of a frame, take into account the length of your legs, but the relationship of your torso length and arm length to the length of your legs is also extremely important to comfort on a bicycle, and the length of the top tube of the bicycle frame must also be examined. Two riders of identical height may need completely different bicycle frames. The best thing you can do is to shop at a bicycle store where knowledgeable riders earn their living and where you are allowed to try out a bicycle before buying it.

It Takes More Than Price In Choosing A Triathlon Bicycle

The next phase you’ll encounter after a free-for-all wild swim is the bike race. This might not actually be the hardest (after all, you only have to know the basics of biking and the principles that would maximize your performance while riding) but it can also make big differences during the race.

In preparation for the triathlon, far too many people seem to put much importance on the type of triathlon bicycle than with what they can do with it. Some even spend grand on a top-of-the-line bicycle and forget all about the thing that matters most- proper use.

On some points of the race, competitors believe that those with lighter and faster bikes have the most advantages. This cant be far from the truth but this does not tell it all. After all, the manner of use and the person’s actual capacity to optimize the bicycle will create big differences.

For some unknown reasons, that only you would somehow realize, a single bike would fit you. It wont matter how expensive it is or how old. Like your favorite running shoes, your triathlon bicycle would suit your style, your needs and your ability. It is just a matter of trying on different bikes and getting the feel for each of them.

Sure, the technologies used to develop a $10,000 triathlon bicycle would actually create some edges over those who only ride on $250 bikes. Nonetheless, never forget that the bike period is only a part of the three areas of discipline triathlon covers. And the bike itself is only a single component of the bike transition. You must still consider and be able to look eye on other principles that will lead you to the last transition stage.

Say you are riding on a high-end, oozing new triathlon bicycle yet bargained so much on the benefits it might give you. You surely have the speed, the style, and the envy of the onlookers and fellow triathletes. But without proper skills in it’s operation, or proper planning during the course and even the endurance to continue biking after loosing much strength during the swim stage, your “nice bike” would be turned into nothing.

It might be cool to pass fellow racers on the initial run yet once they passed you over with their dreaded looks, you’ll wish that you’re on a $300 beater. (That way, you would atleast have an excuse of being beaten).

Cycling Idol Faced With More Doping Allegations

The 1997 Tour winner Jan Ulrich is once again under doubt due to doping; the German who was sacked from the T-Mobile team last year after being involved in the Spanish doping investigation called “Operación Puerto” while being accused of using Erythropoietin (blood buster) and Grow Hormone. Apparently, the 33-years-old cyclist used the prohibit substances to enhance his performance to win the Tour ten year ago too.

The disgrace has come to the German’s life who keeps denying the use of any performance enhancing drugs since D’ Hont, masseur of Telekom during the 90’s has declared to the press he had even seen the Tour de France champion being injected with the banned substances during the years he worked for the team. D’ Hont actually wrote a book about doping at the Telekom (currently T-Mobile) when Bjarne Riss, also a tour winner, was part of the team. Actually, Riss already confessed to be guilty and was stripped out of his yellow jersey.

The new incriminations of doping come as a result of the introduction of the new anti-doping law last May and regarding the implication of the cyclist in the Operación Puerto. However, a Spanish court ruled in March that Spain’s new anti doping laws could not be retroactively applied.

While Ulrich denies any link with Eufemiano Fuentes, the Spanish doctor responsible of providing doping services to the Pro Tour cyclist as well as for possession of frozen blood bags and doping equipment in his house and clinic; D’Hont is ready to present his new book, which apparently contains more material to blame the German of using doping during his career as a professional cyclist. The masseur actually provided the Bonn’s attorney and the Focus Magazine with some evidence regarding Ulrich and T- Mobile’s team guilt.

German professional cyclist Patrick Sinkewitz has also considered withdrawing from the race due to the strict ban on doping which lies on the team. He also provided investigators with information on how Andreas Schmid and Lothar Heinrich (T-Mobile doctors) administered performance enhancing drugs to cyclists through blood replacement treatment, even after the suspension of Jan Ulrich from the Tour de France in 2006.

The evidences are plenty, cyclists are highly affected and fans are very disappointed. Jan Ulrich can not expect more trouble; the German star is falling down from his podium as well as many Tours famous already did.
