I returned them because they hurt my toes…so I think they are a little on the small size.

  2. Probably the best price I’ve ever paid for a pair of road shoes, esp. ones with a carbon sole. Ridden about 500km on them now, and done five or six Category 3 races. Feel stiff, fairly comfy and best of all very light. Buckles work well, straps too. I have narrow feet and find them a bit wide in the front, but with an extra insole no problem. Was a bit worried about leaving my standby top-of-the-line Sidis, but considering these Pearls were 1/3 the price…will just have to see how well-ventilated they are this summer (been riding in booties still) and how durable.

Nice average shoes, Shimano, Specialized and the new Bontrager higher ends of these are all MUCH better. Lighter, higher quality, these are nothing special, run small.
